The last of three nights. FD-80 -- the card the Family Dog nicknamed the "Tea Party," drawn by Greg Irons -- covered a September 8 to 10, 1967 run at the Avalon Ballroom, and Sunday the 10th closed it out. The printed bill carried Southside Sound System, the Phoenix and Freedom Highway, and it is worth being careful about what that does and does not tell us: a poster advertises a run, not an evening. Which of the three acts actually took the Sunday is not recoverable from the sheet, so the whole run bill stands here rather than a headliner invented for the closing night (dates and bill per wolfgangs and rockposters). Irons was early in his Family Dog work at this point, a few years before the underground-comix pages that would make his name; the poster itself is held in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Verification Notes

antagonist: PASS — bill/date corroborated against chickenonaunicycle per-venue list (refreshed 2026-09-07) plus a second independent source; single-source or wiki-only claims hedged in prose, not asserted. N3 of Sep 8-10. Per-night headliner NOT asserted — full run bill retained. Poster held by Smithsonian American Art Museum.
