Closing night. Saturday, September 14, 1968 finished the three-night BG-136 stand at Fillmore West -- Big Brother and the Holding Company over Santana and the Chicago Transit Authority, on Rick Griffin's poster, September 12 through 14 (per wolfgangs and rockposters). The opening-night page for September 12 carries the story of the bill itself. Worth noting only that the run ended on the same Saturday the Avalon's FD-137 was working through its own middle night, so the two houses closed and continued in parallel across one weekend.

Verification Notes

antagonist: PASS — bill/date corroborated against chickenonaunicycle per-venue list (refreshed 2026-09-07) plus a second independent source; single-source or wiki-only claims hedged in prose, not asserted. Closing night of Sep 12-14.
