Night two of three. Friday, September 15, 1967 continued Bill Graham's BG-83 at the Fillmore Auditorium -- the Electric Flag headlining over Mother Earth and the LDM Spiritual Band, on Jim Blashfield's mating-birds design, Thursday through Saturday, September 14 to 16 (poster inscription "Thurs/Fri/Sat -- Sept 14 15 16" per the V&A record, accession O107084; bill cross-checked against wolfgangs and rockposters). The opening-night page for September 14 carries the Electric Flag story -- Mike Bloomfield's post-Butterfield band, three months on from its Monterey debut. What the 15th adds is the weekend around it: the Avalon opened Moscoso's FD-81 the same evening, and the Straight Theater had its own bill running, so the Friday offered three rooms at once.
